LURE RESORT PAWVENTURE VACATION

CALLING ALL PAWVENTURERS, POOCHSPLORERS AND OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS THIS IS THE "PAW DE LE PAW" OUTING FOR YOU!!!

Brandi and I are extremely grateful to Linda and Gary the owners of the LURE RESORT and also are wonderful friends to "OUR FAMILY" for decades. When they learned about what Brandi and I were trying to get accomplished for our PAWS and their PARENTS, and for our Fantastic Fundraising Campaign, they agreed to make a terrific donation for every PARENT who stayed with them at the LURE RESORT, so that Needy PAWS could find New Forever Homes. This Donation is good for any stay, any time, at the LURE RESORT not just for this one Outing, but anytime you might feel the desire to get away from it all at and escape to one of California's most overlooked locations the "Gold Country". All you have to do when making your reservation is tell them you heard about The LURE RESORT through Desperate Paws of Orange County Dog Club and you are a PAW PARENT. It is that simple, and you and your LOVED ONES will be enjoying a relaxing and wonderful vacation and helping to save a Needy PAWS Life.

Brandi and I will be taking our ANNUAL LURE RESORT VACATION beginning on September 8th thru September 19th, with "Gracie Girl" and staying in one of the Amazing Camping Cabins located alongside the Yuba River. That is 11 nights and while we understand that not all PARENTS will be able to attend the entire Outing, that is okay because we would love it if you could come up anytime during our stay. Brandi, "Gracie Girl" and I would love to PAWTY with you.

There is literally tons to do within the Expansive Resort Grounds and even more within a 30 minute drive surrounding the LURE RESORT. Brandi and I always go to the Lakes Basin at least every other day and "Gracie Girl" loves to go swimming in Salmon Lake. We fish the Yuba River and the Lakes Basin for Trout (Rainbow, Brown, and Brook), go on Nature Hikes, do a little Gold Prospecting (especially now that gold is $1200.00 an ounce), Antiquing, Swimming, Nature Photography, have fabulous Dinners in Town with "Gracie Girl", explore old Mining Towns, visit Grass Valley and Nevada City, go to the Empire Mine State Park, Roast Marshmallows in the Campfire, and of course the most important thing "RELAX".

Brandi and I have added last year's photos of our vacation so that all the PARENTS can get a better feel of the Truly Amazing Resort Destination the LURE RESORT and the surrounding areas are. You can view some of the photos of last year's trip in the Album titled LURE RESORT VACATION 2009.

Please feel free to join us anytime during September 8, 2010 and September 19, 2010. If you can't make it during those dates, but you are looking for an amazing vacation destination anytime throughout the year, please make your reservation to the LURE RESORT and tell them that you are a PAW PARENT with Desperate Paws of Orange County Dog Club so that Needy PAWS can find their New Forever Homes.

Wow what a fun and exciting PAWVENTURE VACATION. Bobo and Gracie Girl had the best time as always. We wish to thank the Lure Resort for helping the Club to "PAW IT FORWARD" and we can not wait for next years trip. Look for the Outing to be posted very soon.

Fantastic Time. Molly had a blast playing with Bobo and Gracie. The river was gorgeous and the lakes were terrific. Sad to be home. Wish I was still there.

DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT CLUB designed to get PARENTS and their PAWS out of the house and enjoying life. The club was specifically created to place PARENTS and their PAWS together in fun social activities, while Advocating for Dog Welfare and Adoption.

ALL FRIENDLY PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN!

Through the club we hold fun social activities, outings and events such as trips to Dog Beaches, Bark Parks, Hiking Trails, Restaurant and Happy Hour Pawties, Camping Trips, Paw Classes, Paw Expos, Pawventure Vacations, Adoption Events and More so that the PARENTS and their PAWS can play and socialize together at fun PAW-friendly venues.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS AT THE UPCOMING OUTINGS!

THE DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB'S "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN benefits Local Needy and Adoptable Dogs by funding Special Adoption Events in our community. This Club is so much more than just a place to have a great time with our PAWS but also through the Club's joint efforts with Local Businesses, Agencies, Dog Welfare Groups and County Officials we have been able to positively affect the lives of many more deserving PAWS who are not as fortunate to have wonderful PARENTS like our PAWS do.
