HAPPY FATHER'S DAY PAW PAWTY AND PICNIC IN THE PARK

CALLING ALL PARENTS! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY PAW PAWTY AND PICNIC IN THE PARK!!

Let's all celebrate Father's Day with our PAWS and a picnic in the park. This wonderful Outing will be held at the Dog Park in Huntington Central Park with a picnic and raffles to follow. This Dog Park has lots of shade and room for our PAWS to run, play and socialize with others. There is a Large Dog Park as well as a Small Dog Park. BYOB (Bring Your Own Balls).

After the playtime and socialization we can all enjoy a nice picnic lunch in the Park. The lunch will include an assorted sandwich platter and a fresh chilled cut watermelon. Cold bottled water will also be provided for the PARENTS as well with the CRITTER COOLER filled with fresh filtered water for our thirsty PAWS. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on as we will be gathered there on the nice grassy area outside the Dog Park. If anyone would like to bring any additional items for the picnic like chips, extra dog treats, plates, napkins and forks it would be greatly appreciated. Dogs must be kept on-leash during the picnic.

There will be great raffle prizes as well supporting our "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN for Needy Dogs here in our community. A pair of gift certificates to JOHNNY REBS' good for breakfast, lunch or dinner, a gift certificate to DICK'S SPORTING GOODS and from our NEWEST Sponsor PAPA MURPHY'S TAKE 'N' BAKE PIZZA 2 gift cards good for a FREE Large One Topping Pizza.

So come out and PAWTY with us and celebrate our Fathers! Dog Park is located on Edwards St and Inlet Dr. between Slater and Ellis in Huntington Beach. Sorry, but there is no actual street number/address. Click on the Dog Park in Huntington Central Park link at the top to see a map. Please be sure and RSVP with the appropriate number of people who will be attending to ensure that we will have an adequate amount of sandwiches and water.

DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB WILL NEVER HAVE AN OUTING TO THIS DOG PARK AGAIN NOR WILL THE CLUB EVER RECOMMEND THIS PARK TO ANOTHER PAW PARENT! THERE IS NO GRASS, POOR WATER FACILITIES, TWO DOG FIGHTS IN THE HOUR AND A HALF WE WERE THERE, AND THE BOARD MEMBERS OF THE DOG PARK, WELL THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN FUNDING THEIR PARK NOT ACTUALLY HELPING DOGS FIND HOMES TO ENJOY THEIR PARK, SO WE GOT A NICE WARM WELCOME FROM THEM. NOT!! THINK THAT IS ENOUGH SAID ABOUT THIS PARK. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT ALL PARENTS NEVER ATTEND THIS PARK!!

DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT CLUB designed to get PARENTS and their PAWS out of the house and enjoying life. The club was specifically created to place PARENTS and their PAWS together in fun social activities, while Advocating for Dog Welfare and Adoption.

ALL FRIENDLY PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN!

MEMBERSHIP IS FREE!!

Through the club we hold fun social activities, outings and events such as trips to Dog Beaches, Bark Parks, Hiking Trails, Restaurant and Happy Hour Pawties, Camping Trips, Paw Classes, Paw Expos, Pawventure Vacations, Adoption Events and More so that the PARENTS and their PAWS can play and socialize together at fun PAW-friendly venues.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS AT THE UPCOMING OUTINGS!

THE DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB'S "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN benefits Local Needy and Adoptable Dogs by funding Special Adoption Events in our community. This Club is so much more than just a place to have a great time with our PAWS but also through the Club's joint efforts with Local Businesses, Agencies, Dog Welfare Groups and County Officials we have been able to positively affect the lives of many more deserving PAWS who are not as fortunate to have wonderful PARENTS like our PAWS do.
