The American Red Cross has a terrific program, and we would ... Read more like to schedule this Outing for the Club! This would not be a FREE Outing as the American Red Cross charges for the training, however the more PARENTS we can get to participate the less the charge will be. I know that in my lifetime, I had a beautiful Springer Spaniel who got a small ball trapped in his mouth, and almost died before we could remove it. Since then I have been advocating for First Aid and C.P.R. for your Pets. If you are not trained and certified this would be your opportunity to possibly save your PAW'S Life or another PAW's life!! It really is important. -
PAW CAMP OUT, HIKE AND BBQ
Brandi and I wanted to know if anyone is interested in a Camping Trip to O'Neill Regional Park here in Orange County. This Outing will begin on a Friday Evening later this Fall, so the weather cools down just a little. It will last ... Read moreuntil Sunday Morning, however you will not need to camp if you are not a camper as the Park is just a short drive away.
On Friday Evening there will be a meet and greet Marshmallow and Hot Dog Roast. Saturday Morning will be the hike around the Park and into some fo the Trail Areas. Saturday Evening will be a BYOB BBQ, which everyone brings somethings and we all eat together. Sunday Morning we pack up and head out to get ready to return to the Real World.
All PARENTS and PAWS are invited, however if you are planning on camping with all of us, you will need to reserve your own campsite or you can come out just for the day, and hang out in the park with us. It should be lots of fun, with wonderful smells for the PAWS, and Outdoor Activities too.

Newport Dunes at the Newport Beach Back Bay has offered DPOC a deeply discounted price for campsites for the weekend of October 8th. PAWS and parents can camp the weekend or only come for the day on October 9th. There will be camping, ... Read morehiking, boating, and beach activities. Plus an oom-papa dinner at the clubhouse in which everyone brings a side dish (maybe something German?) and their own entree. Bonfires Friday and Saturday night.
