Hi there! I am Co-Organizer of Desperate Paws. At DPOC, I can have fun with my dogs and also be instrumental in helping shelter dogs find a forever home. With all its variety of events, it's the best dog club in SoCal. Bar none.

Patricia, no worries regarding this past Tues.event [http://www.meetup.com/OurCosmos/event...] We still look fwd to crossing paths in other future events w/u & group. My fair concern was to honor my RSVP, which sometimes gets circumvented by misdirection in this case. Thus, I'd be no shows for valid reasons - not b/c I didn't want to go. Super glad the event was enjoyable for many & again, made the very best of the evening w/really fine company. Til the next one, cheerz! =}

Hi Patricia, it was good meeting you at the Goldstone field trip today. Thanks for the scene suggestion (it was from Pulp Fiction w/ C.W. I just googled it and watched it on YouTube) and filling me in on the scoop about Our Cosmos. I definitely will join. But maybe i'll wait until I can come up with some witty answers to your questions... or not.

DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT CLUB designed to get PARENTS and their PAWS out of the house and enjoying life. The club was specifically created to place PARENTS and their PAWS together in fun social activities, while Advocating for Dog Welfare and Adoption.

ALL FRIENDLY PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN!

Through the club we hold fun social activities, outings and events such as trips to Dog Beaches, Bark Parks, Hiking Trails, Restaurant and Happy Hour Pawties, Camping Trips, Paw Classes, Paw Expos, Pawventure Vacations, Adoption Events and More so that the PARENTS and their PAWS can play and socialize together at fun PAW-friendly venues.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING ALL PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS AT THE UPCOMING OUTINGS!

THE DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB'S "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN benefits Local Needy and Adoptable Dogs by funding Special Adoption Events in our community. This Club is so much more than just a place to have a great time with our PAWS but also through the Club's joint efforts with Local Businesses, Agencies, Dog Welfare Groups and County Officials we have been able to positively affect the lives of many more deserving PAWS who are not as fortunate to have wonderful PARENTS like our PAWS do.
