Brandi and I wanted to wish everyone a Safe and Sane 4th of July tomorrow, we also hope that all the PARENTS AND THE PAWS make it through it safely. Please remember be kind to your PAWS as this holiday is typically especially stressful on them. Have a Great Holiday!
The Dog Club's Six Month Anniversary is on the 6th of July, and it is great to see how fast the Club is growing, and we hope it continues to grow and expand. Which is why the Dog Club is also looking for Assistant Organizers, if anyone is interested in helping to plan, host, and organize some upcoming Outings please let Brandi and I know. It would be truly a service to the Club and a tremendous help. Currently now in just a few months, the Club has grown to over 325 PARENTS, and is still growing everyday. It is fantastic to see it growing and even more important to see some of the "Good Work", we as a Club, and PAW PARENTS have been able to accomplish in just a few months.
We wanted to let everyone know the Article in the Times from the Lazy Dog Cafe - Manic Monday Outing will appear in the Times on Monday, so long as it doesn't get bumped for huge breaking news. It will be nice to see what is written, and check out the photos.
We also wanted to update everyone and let you all know the next Lazy Dog Cafe - Manic Monday Outing in July is posted and please RSVP and bring the Fundraising Flyer from Lazy Dog Cafe with you when you attend. New and different Raffle Prizes this time too, including a Pair of Tickets to an upcoming Angels Game in August.
Lastly, Brandi and I got several Questions about what our Dog Service is all about from the Outing on Monday Night, so we wanted to take this opportunity and invite you to watch one of our Youtube PAWVENTURE OUTING Videos from July 2, 2010 and you can watch all of what we do and provide our Clients. Here is the link of Friday's PAWVENTURE OUTING, POOL PAWTY, and BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. IT IS PRETTY CUTE VIDEO TOO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bN63HRRKIXw
We also wanted to let you know that this Tuesday is a truly special and unique PAWVENTURE OUTING to the San Gabriel Mountains. It is seven hours in length, and there will be tons of trail blazing and swimming in the River included. As with all our PAWVENTURE OUTINGS we pick up and drop off at your home or office and transport your PAWS safely. It should be tons of fun and there are three spots left if any PARENTS wanted to sign your PAWS up for it. Let us know to schedule your free evalution of your PAW.
Sincerely,
Stephen & Brandi Pawfessionals of Desperate Paws of Orange County Organizers of Desperate Paws of Orange County Dog Club www.desperatepawsofocdogclub.org [address removed] 877.215.PAWS

THE DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB'S "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN benefits Local Needy and Adoptable Dogs by funding Special Adoption Events in our community. This Club is so much more than just a place to have a great time with our PAWS but also through the Club's joint efforts with Local Businesses, Agencies, Dog Welfare Groups and County Officials we have been able to positively affect the lives of many more deserving PAWS who are not as fortunate to have wonderful PARENTS like our PAWS do.
DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB, its Efforts, Activities and Programs have been recognized by the following. Here is what they had to say:
"O.C. Animal Care has benefited greatly from our relationship with Desperate Paws of O.C. Dog Club and we are looking forward to the B.A.R.K 4 Kids program. As Orange County’s largest animal shelter, we see firsthand the lack of education in our community through the number of animals that come to our shelter lacking identification, proper care, and proper behavioral training. Through programs like this, and the wonderful volunteers in our community like Desperate Paws of O.C. Dog Club, we hope to further our cause of educating our younger community in responsible pet ownership and a higher respect for the animals we work so hard to protect." - Ryan Drabek, Director of O.C. Animal Care
THE NEEDY PAWS APPRECIATE ANY AND ALL DONATIONS!
We ask that you please read the D.P.O.C. DOG CLUB'S FAQs to answer any potential questions that you may have about the club. Thank You!
***In keeping with our Mission Statement, and Singleness of Purpose, there are times when Brandi and I feel that some people will join the Club to promote other activities or business ventures not in-line with the Club's Purpose. Therefore we feel it is essential to keep the Club's Mission Clear which is to promote Quality Time for bonding between PARENTS and their PAWS in fun social activities, while giving back to our Local Needy PAW Community. If you are joining for any other reason, please be advised you are joining the wrong Club....
