Hi PARENTS, the latest dog club video is live on the Dog Club Youtube Channel and you can find it here on this link http://www.youtube.com/user/DPOCDOGCLUB Be sure and subscribe it's FREE and only takes a minute and you will be notified when new videos are uploaded.

Brandi and I wish to welcome all the New Members who have joined in the past few weeks. We hope to meet all of you and your Paws at some upcoming Outings.

Everyone try and attend the Club Member Meeting and Steering Committee Meeting this Wednesday if you would like to get involved and help us in the nomination process for Local Rescues who will be eligible for the "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN FUNDS. The Club Members will be voting very SOON!

Also a quick note about the Camping Trip and Hike. It will be postponed until Spring, at Oneil Park. There is not a Group Camping Site available currently until November. So Look for that Outing in the April, 2011, as the the hillsides will be nice and green with the creek full of water too.

As for the Hike and BBQ it will still happen on October 9th, around the Back Bay of Newport. So look for more information on that in the upcoming weeks.

There will also be a PAW Costume and Adoption Event coming up on Saturday, October 30th, and we invite all Local Rescues to attend and all potential PARENTS who are interested in adding a wonderful new PAW to their Family, so look for that Outing in the next few weeks too!

Thanks to everyone who attended and participated in the 3 Lazy Dog Cafe Manic Monday PAW Pawties! They were such a success they will be back again in 2011 as the PARENTS and the PAWS really enjoyed themselves. We wish to also thank our Sponsors the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Lazy Dog Cafe, The Improv, and Papa Murphy's Pizza for helping the Club to "PAW IT FORWARD" by donating wonderful items for the Raffles at the Lazy Dog Cafe Manic Monday PAW Pawties.

Lastly, and certainly not least a truly special thanks goes to PATRICIA who has been a wonderful help in Organizing, Greeting, and the Planning of all the last few outings and upcoming events. Parents if you have not met Patricia yet, it is a must as she is really a special woman, who Brandi and I are extremely grateful to have helping the club! Thanks Patricia!

Be sure and tell your friends about the club and lets really make all the upcoming outings fun for everyone. The more the merrier!

DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT CLUB designed to get PARENTS and their PAWS out of the house and enjoying life. The club was specifically created to place PARENTS and their PAWS together in fun social activities, while Advocating for Dog Welfare and Adoption.

ALL FRIENDLY PARENTS AND THEIR PAWS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN!

Through the club we hold fun social activities, outings and events such as trips to Dog Beaches, Bark Parks, Hiking Trails, Restaurant and Happy Hour Pawties, Camping Trips, Paw Classes, Paw Expos, Pawventure Vacations, Adoption Events and More so that the PARENTS and their PAWS can play and socialize together at fun PAW-friendly venues.

THE DESPERATE PAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY DOG CLUB'S "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN benefits Local Needy and Adoptable Dogs by funding Special Adoption Events in our community. This Club is so much more than just a place to have a great time with our PAWS but also through the Club's joint efforts with Local Businesses, Agencies, Dog Welfare Groups and County Officials we have been able to positively affect the lives of many more deserving PAWS who are not as fortunate to have wonderful PARENTS like our PAWS do.
