to benefit NEEDY AND ADOPTABLE DOGS is just one way OUR CLUB is
"PAWing IT FORWARD".


There are literally, 10's of Thousands of Dogs right here in Our Community being Euthanized each year. The Club is not a "RESCUE ORGANIZATION" however we would be a miss if Our Club and Our Members didn't do something to help aide in the effort to Save the Lives of Needy Dogs from High Kill Shelters!

Our PAWS are fortunate to have such Wonderful Loving PARENTS, however not all PAWS are as Fortunate as Ours. "SEPARATE WE ARE FEW, TOGETHER WE ARE MANY!!" YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE TODAY IN A NEEDY DOG'S LIFE HERE ARE SOME OF THE WAYS.

There are Numerous Sponsors of our Club, and they have all Donated to this Campaign. When you attend an Outing, purchase a Raffle ticket or Ten, and try to win some of the great Prizes, Gift Certificates/Cards or Passes. Brandi and I would like to Say Thanks Again, to everyone who has Contributed through the Raffles, but it would be terrific to get a larger turn out and support for the Outings. Tell some friends and bring them along with you!!

There is also a New Permanent Address for the Dog Club, thanks to the wonderful generosity of The UPS Store in Costa Mesa, to which you can submit your Donations Directly. Many Members have asked us how they can donate directly, and this is a great way, as now we DO NOT LOSE any of your donations through FEES that PAYPAL imposes for Usage. Every Penny Counts. EVERYTIME YOU SEARCH on the YAHOO POWERED ISEARCH TOOL BAR, the "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN, receives $.01 from every search. Just imagine, $.01 is donated just by you searching. It is FREE AND EASY, and you will be helping to save a Needy Dog's Life, right here in our Local Community! In this case, "PAW" stands for a "Penny A Week", it's all we ask! How often do you purchase items On-Line through terrific stores like EBAY, AMAZON, ITUNES, OVERSTOCK.COM, BED BATH AND BEYOND, 1-800 FLOWERS, STARBUCKS, COSTCO, and tons more? Over 750 of the most popular stores are all working together through this terrific Program to help Aide the "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN for Needy Dogs. Just imagine, if every member did their Christmas Shopping on-line through these stores there would be a tremendous Donation made on their behalf of up to 26% by IGIVE. For each new member that signs up and makes a purchase from one of their over 750 stores there is a one time $5.00 donation given back to the "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN on your behalf. Another way to "PAW IT FORWARD" is with the Club's "PRESENTS FOR PAWS" DRIVE. Beginning at the first Outing in September and running through the first Outing in December, we will be collecting donations of any new or slightly used/undamaged dog toy. We will then be handing them out to the dogs in a local shelter before Christmas. We will also be asking for volunteers to help in this effort. It is just one more way, we as PAW loving PARENTS, can give back to the Needy Dogs in our community. The "PRESENTS FOR PAWS" DRIVE will continue for years to come.

All money from the "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN will be given to two local NO-KILL dog rescues and/or shelters at the end of year PAWTY. All members will be invited and remember YOU, as members, are the ones who decide through your votes which two 501(c)3 Non-Profit dog rescues and/or shelters will receive these funds. These funds will only go to a dog rescue or dog shelter. We, as a Dog Club, do not support rescues or shelters that also house and care for cats, goats, horses, sheep, pigs or any other barnyard animal. Not that these organizations aren't worthy of support we are just a Dog Club and support only rescues and shelters that are dogs specific. If you know of a local dog only rescue or dog only shelter, please contact them and have them submit a bio to us at info@desperatepawsofoc.com to be placed on the message boards in consideration of the donation.

Brandi & I are truly passionate about giving back to our LOCAL dog community and to the Needy Dogs in our LOCAL community. Remember there are 10's of Thousands of Needy and Adoptable dogs in Southern California that DON"T HAVE A VOICE! The funds from the "PAW IT FORWARD" CAMPAIGN go directly to helping Needy Dogs in our LOCAL community. Thus, furthering our ability to help save Needy Dogs in OUR community. These are just a few ways that we know will help in this effort and we invite everyone to join in.
