We need to get an idea as to how many members are interested in Arrftober Fest which will be the weekend of October 8th at the Newport Dunes in Newport Beach Back Bay. We are getting a huge discount on the camping sites and we'll have the clubhouse at no charge on Saturday. Details will follow. This will consist of a bonfire on Friday night, a hike around the lagoon or other leisure activities on Saturday with an oom-papa cookout Saturday night. We are taking a poll to see how many people will attend so we can reserve spaces for those who care to camp with their PAWS. Right now we would like to get an idea of who is interested.

If you are interested in being a PAW Foster PARENT we would like to know. There are literally 10's of 1,000's of PAWS each year in our community that are wonderful candidates for re-homing to forever homes. All they need is a loving Foster PARENT until such a home is found. Being a Foster PARENT would mean housing, possible training, supplying food & water, a safe and loving environment, and most of all a dedication and advocacy to the PAW you are fostering. Each PAW would have an updated web listing on petinfo.com as well as our Club site until the PAW was placed in a wonderful new Forever Home.
